Mix your new clothes with my 'used' clothes.

I was taking more pictures of 'used' clothes today for my website http://www.runwayclothesconsignment.com/ and I started thinking about the clothes that I was photographing in a different way. How can I mix my newer clothes with these great used clothes that I have and why would I want to?
Well I LOVE clothes and am a real example of that saying 'when the going gets tough the tough go shopping', you've heard that right? I've done my share of 'tough shopping'! I started thinking about some of the things that I have in my closet and how I could wear them with the clothes on my site.
This red ball skirt is a great example; I have a simple black cashmere turtle neck sweater that would look great with this skirt. No need to go out and buy a whole new outfit - just get this beautiful skirt and wear it with something I already own!
So why would I want to do that? well that's easy I now have enough money left over to go out and buy another Christmas present (for me :)
What do you have in your closet that would look great with this skirt??

Things to look for when buying Used Designer Clothing

More than just the way something looks you really have to learn as much as you can about the item that you are interested in purchasing. Just as you would when you are in a department store, when buying something on line, ask questions. You can e-mail the site and communicate with the owner of the site as to the true condition of the item posted.
What questions do you want to ask? Well I would start with - "How old is the item?" and "How many times has the item been to the dry cleaner?" and don't forget - "What condition is the item in, really what condition is it in?" Any reputable seller will answer all of those questions, and more, honestly. Retailers, whether on-line or in a brick and mortar store want their customers to buy, enjoy, tell other people about good experiences and most of all come back and buy again.
The red leather jacket shown above is posted on my website www.runwayclothesconsignment.com. I can honestly answer all of the above questions; This jacket is over 10 years old. Purchased in Florida, the jacket was worn only a handful of times. The jacket has never been to the dry cleaners, thus there is not a chemical smell or residue on the jacket. The jacket is in 'good' condition. It is not new, and I can't honestly say it is in 'perfect' condition, but it is over 10 years old.
Buy your used Designer Clothing on line from reputable dealers. You will not be disappointed.
Oh and did I forget to say, have fun and save, save, save $$$$$$.

What about used clothing?

Welcome to a blog about Used Designer Clothing!
Every day a new item, recently posted to our new website which can be found at www.runwayclothesconsignment.com/ will be posted to this blog so we can dispel the myth that "Used Clothing" has to look tired, old and just not appealing.
Used Clothing, pre-owned clothing, and vintage Designer clothing is possibly the best value available when shopping for Designer Clothing today.
Clothes that have stood the test of time and are still alluring and appealing are in great demand at this time.
Our new site is devoted to and supported by women who have large closets full of clothes that have been 'gently worn' or in some cases not worn at all. These clothes have been, in the past, taken to consignment stores where they were only seen by a select few. Now our site allows unlimited exposure and provides an outlet for you to sell and buy designer items at unbelievable prices, usually at a fraction of their original retail prices.
The red ensemble shown here was designed by Donald Brooks and is from the late 1970's. There is a beautiful floor length dress beneath the jacket and the fabric is a rich Duchess Satin, just perfect for a New Year's Eve Celebration!
Visit our new website www.runwayclothesconsignment.com and see the rest of the pictures.
